Oy’s Campaign Manager To Face Grand Jury
The news that Emilie Oy had been found in Montana by Jack Bog is making the rounds via the Associated Press. The story quotes her new boss at KXGN: “She did say she had some issues with a political campaign in Portland. We discussed it briefly. It has very little to do with what she is going for me.”
That, of course, is after the earlier bit in the article where his answer to a question about whether he was aware of her history was: “I am now.” So that pretty much tells us she wasn’t quite entirely up front with him about the situation. Why her utter lack of credibility “has very little to do” with her reporting the news is something which escapes me at the moment.
(Then there’s the website of Portland Republicans, who believe that the scroop on Oy’s whereabouts somehow belonged to Theo.)
Meanwhile, Vladimir Golovan, Oy’s former campaign manager, faces a grand jury. He, another candidate who refused his services, and (seemingly) City Auditor Gary Blackmer have all been subpoenad to appear before the grand jury.
Presumably we will at some point learn what Golovan has to say about what Oy did and did not know about his activities on her behalf. We’ll see if he throws Oy under the bus.
