Old FURIOUS nads! by The One True b!X

For the GOPresidency and all its water carriers, it doesn’t matter what they do for the troops. It only matters how they feel about the troops.

If any piece of software I have on my laptop failed as often as does MySpace, it would get removed pretty quickly. That said, some time back I activated my dormant MySpace account (which I only had to begin with just in case there arose some pressing need for it) in order to have my profile say I had only one friend, but it was Nathan Fillion. Anyway, for the Hell of it (or maybe I have some nefarious scheme), now I’ve opened the gates.

Over on Portland’s Future Charter, I’ve opened a thread to discuss my appearance on Thom Hartmann’s show this morning, as well as an mp3 clip of the discussion.

As I sit here having my morning coffee at Floyd’s, I am watching a helicopter set up and take the same pass over and over again. I can only assume that it’s filming take after take of some shot for this film shoot down at the Broadway Bridge.

While it’s apparently true that the president of the eponymous Robert King’s House of Wingnuttery and I are on the same side when it comes to the Charter reform issue, it doesn’t mean he isn’t still a wingnut on police-related issues.

According to a Republican from Alabama, on the floor of the Senate, the reason he and so many others voted to give the GOPresident the authority to invade Iraq wasn’t weapons of mass destruction, wasn’t the war on terrorism, wasn’t to promote democracy. No, the real reason was to finally stop Saddam Hussein from running around claiming he had won the Gulf War back in 1991.
