If indeed it’s true, in the words of Theo, that “[n]othing rankles the mayor as much as being accused of playing politics”, then perhaps Major Tom ought not to have run around blaming the tram on Portland’s form of government, then pronounced that we shouldn’t turn the tram into a form of government “political fight”, and then sent out a Team Potter campaign letter blaming the tram on Portland’s form of government.
