VOTE OR DIE! Afternoon Turnout Edition
As of 5:00 PM, turnout indicates that one-fifth of Multnomah County voters have cast ballots. With three hours to go until the polls close, and only one percentage point away, it would seem that my prediction of 21% voter turnout is doomed to be wrong. But that 20-23% range predicted by the pace of the last three off-year May elections still looks pretty good.
