“KATU wants to get to know the blogging community and is interested in joining the conversation,” says the invitation to the KATU Portland Blogger Meetup. “There’s no agenda, other than to enjoy some food and beverages courtesy of our hosts. Meet fellow bloggers, view (and photograph!) the television studios and have some fun!” It would seem that something close to 300 people received this invitation (as of this post, no one has yet responded), but I only recognize some of the names so far. It’s the week after the monthly Metroblogging Portland meet, so we could always go and conspire beforehand.
They got 150 folks to the one in Seattle. Very interesting. I might be tempted to go…if I were invited.
Yeah, I just got this as well. Glad to know other bloggers are getting it, too. I wasn’t sure if it was legit.
