It’s an old saw, that bit about being able to tell when someone is lying because their lips move. But it’s an everyday reality for the GOPresident, who last night outright lied once again. This time by using an easy-debunked number of countries participating with “troops on the ground” in Iraq. Of course, there’s a simple reason why the GOPresident has become so comfortable with even easily-debunked lies: For more than six years, the people, the media, and Congress have let him do it as a matter of routine, with impunity. He has no reason, after six years of such enabling, even to work at it anymore.
