The Genius GOP In Washington State
Late last night, elsewhere, I remarked that the Washington State Republican Party must have run out of fingers and toes, because they had stopped counting their caucus results. This morning, humor escapes me. As flagged by Talking Points Memo, the party issued a press release declaring and congratulating a winner despite 12.8% of the results not yet reporting in and only 1.8% separating the top two candidates. Do they really not understand how this only makes them look like they are trying to fudge the results?
