Don't Believe In Fear, Don't Believe In Faith

Categorically Speaking

As part of the recent move of FURIOUS nads! I’ve begun establishing a few categories. For the most part, I’ve only added posts since the start of this year into these categories. The exceptions (including categories such as Creationism, Photos, and Oy) should have all relevant posts since this site’s inception.

I find that categories (at least at my place) have turned the blog into a sort of personal filing system.

I don’t know if what few readers I do have find them useful. I do know that if I leave something interesting on line on the blog, and I want to get it back, it usually takes a few clicks on Blogger labels (or technorati tags, which I’ve used for a long time now) to find it again.

It’s kind of a public mental map in a public notebook, which is pretty cool when you think about it.

Well, categories were crucial back when I was writing Communique. Never felt any particular need for them on this site, but it became one of those things I tossed into the to-do list when I moved the site.
