Why I Hate People

There is one particular “customer” who regularly comes in to sell textbooks. She has been told a thousand times to call first, to make sure either of our buyers is here. She has been told a thousand times that I do not do the buying. She knows the rules. This morning, and for the thousandth time, she came in without calling first, once again on the one day of the week when it is a guarantee that neither of the buyers are here in the morning. And then she asked, three times, if I could do it.

When told yet again — three times — that I don’t do the buying, she of course begins to mutter in a way which makes it clear that she feels put upon.

One more time through this and I swear that I am just going to start pulling down my pants and taking a shit on her shoes.
